TeenViews
Nine students from Adolph-Kolping-Hauptschule in Cologne visited Museum Ludwig and its collection a lot during the 2025/26 school year. Diana, Harun, Ivelina, Lisa, Lorenzo, Valentina, Vlada, Yana, and Yaren asked themselves: What makes a museum exciting for young people? And how could a visit to the museum be even more interesting? This led to the development of TeenViews, a series of sites within the collection that offer children and young people a fresh perspective on selected artworks.
TeenViews builds on the2025 exhibition Francis Alÿs—Kids Take Over. Back then, an elementary school class from GGS Lindweiler and Year 7 classes at Adolph-Kolping-Hauptschule selected their favourite artworks and commented on them. Some of them can now be found in the collection of Museum Ludwig.
